Having stayed at The Savoy numerous times and waited for my car in front of this restaurant but never having eaten there I promised myself I would have to try it. I was glad I did. Our meals were great, as was the service and atmosphere. I will certainly eat there on future trips to London. Oh, by the way, the Martini was invented in Martinez, California by a bartender for a gold miner on his way up to the Gold Rush in the 1850's....read the book- The Martini by Barnaby Conrad III for the details of this story and other great martini stories.
